LVL Billet Processing

MLT Ltd. have commissioned a new state-of-the-art production line for Additional LVL Billet Processing consisting of four areas:

1. Automated Cold-Pressing Line Minda (Germany).

• Hydraulic cold press with the maximum capacity of 3 000 m3 per month;
• Planing and milling machine with the maximum capacity of 4 000 m3 per month.

Billet sizes:

• Stage 1: widths from 100 up to 400 mm;
• Stage 2: widths from 100 up to 600 mm, heights from 100 to 1350 mm, lengths from 2500 up to 18000 mm.

The equipment allows profile cutting lengthwise.

2. Chemical Treatment and Painting Line.

Allows preservative (fungicidal) treatment and painting of LVL.

• Features a unique drying oven (12 000 mm long).
• Width: 400 mm; thickness: 400 mm; length: 12 000 mm;
• Maximum capacity 4 000 m3 per month.

3. Prefabricated Houses Workshop (Line).
Equipment supplier: Weinmann (Germany).
Capacity 250 house kits per year based on 2 shift operation.
The line incorporates SEMA software.

4. LVL based Large Span Structures Production Line, for LVL structures spanning the distances from 12m up to 30m.
