The LVL project took 2nd place at the ARCHNEVA

On June 7, a review of student works took place within the framework of the youth architectural workshop “ARCHNEVA”, organized by the Association of Wooden House Construction. From June 1-6, six teams of students from specialized universities, under the guidance of professional mentors, created facilities dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. All objects made of wood are located in the park of FTU named after S.M. Kirov.

The topic of the workshop, “Memory Tree: Spaces of understanding,” was not chosen by chance. Wood is a living material that preserves the trace of time, the warmth of the master’s hands, changing, but durable, like the memory of the events of the past. Each created object is a carrier of an idea and a call to preserve the memory of the great Victory.

Novotorzhsky TPP acted as the general partner of the youth workshop, providing LVL with ULtralam timber to create the Rotunda of Memory. The objects were evaluated by a competent jury, which included Totan Kuzenbaev, Mikhail Mamoshin, Alexey Komov, Alexander Leonov, Giuseppe Arnone, Evgeny Makarenko, and others. During the discussion, the Rotunda of Memory won the second place.

It is not the first time that Novotorzhsky TPP supports significant events that are held on the basis of specialized educational institutions. Thanks to such events, students have the opportunity to put their knowledge into practice, get acquainted with the features of building materials, and learn how to work in a team. Congratulations to the student team on their victory and let’s hope that holding the ARCHNEVA youth workshop will become a good tradition!
