ARCHNEVA
May 16, 2025
From June 1 to June 7, 2025 the park of the Saint-Petersburg Forest Technical University will host ARHNEVA, an architectural workshop for students of specialized universities. The workshop is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The theme of the event: “The tree of memory: spaces of comprehension”. The workshop was organized by the Association of Wooden House Construction and FTU named after S.M. Kirov, with the support of the Union of Architects of Russia and the Russian Union of Builders.
During the workshop, the participants will be tasked with creating spaces that will help people reflect, come into contact with historical heritage and rethink it. Six teams from different architectural universities and specialized departments of the country, together with mentors, create models, select materials, attend lectures and consult with experts in the field of wooden construction.
The general partner of the workshop was Novotorzhsky TPP. The support of the ARKHNEVA workshop is a logical continuation of the company’s policy in the field of cooperation with specialized universities, familiarization of students with LVL and its advantages in wooden housing construction. In the process of preparation, Vladimir Kerchensky, head of the sales department of the directorate for the development of housing construction, conducted a consultation for students of FTU named after S.M. Kirov. Let us remind you that in March, Novotorzhsky TPP mounted a LVL frame in a showroom created on the initiative of the ADD.
The construction of art objects will start on June 1, 2025. On June 7, at 12.00 p.m., the grand opening ceremony of the exhibition, the presentation of projects and the announcement of the winners will take place for the jury and guests.
We invite everyone!
